About us

Modern travel medicine, built around Canadian travellers.

Virtual Travel Clinic is the combination of two things most travel clinics never manage to integrate: a licensed Canadian physician who specialises in travel medicine, and a full-service pharmacy that dispenses and administers the vaccines they prescribe. One consultation. One pharmacy visit. No gaps.

Why we built this

Every traveller in Canada has the same experience: they learn they need travel vaccines, they google a clinic, they take time off work to sit in a waiting room, the physician tells them what to get, and then they leave with a piece of paper and drive to an entirely different pharmacy to actually get vaccinated. It's two trips for one outcome, and something always goes wrong in the handoff.

Virtual Travel Clinic removes the handoff. Consultations happen over video from your home or office. The physician sends the prescription directly to our affiliated Toronto pharmacy, where a pharmacist administers your vaccines and issues any travel certificates on-site. One organisation owns the entire experience.

Licensed Canadian physicians

Every consultation is with a physician licensed in Ontario and trained in travel medicine. We follow guidance from the Public Health Agency of Canada, WHO, and the CATMAT.

Full-service pharmacy integration

Most clinics stop at the prescription. Our pharmacy partners dispense and administer the vaccines themselves — no follow-up appointments, no coordination between services.

Every destination, every vaccine

Yellow fever, rabies, Japanese encephalitis, Dukoral, altitude sickness prophylaxis, malaria prevention. Our designated-centre affiliated pharmacy stocks the full travel formulary.

How an appointment works

  1. 1

    Book a consultation

Choose a time that works for you. Evenings and weekends available. Typical wait time is under 48 hours.

  2. 2

    Meet your physician by video

Our physician reviews your itinerary, medical history, and any current medications. Your plan is built during the appointment, not sent days later.

  3. 3

    Prescription sent to our pharmacy

Any required prescriptions are transmitted directly. Standby antibiotics, antimalarials, and altitude-sickness medications are ready at the pharmacy counter.

  4. 4

    Vaccines at our Toronto pharmacy

Walk in on your own schedule. Our pharmacist administers the vaccines, issues certificates (including the official Yellow Fever ICVP booklet), and reviews any remaining travel advice.
